Especially we are to explore all colonial buildings in Yangon as listed on Yangon Heritage List. During the walking through streets, you will experience the lifestyles of the city from the busy bus station to the hidden street markets. Additionally you will have the plenty of chances to interact with Yangon residents. What’s more you will learn more about the Burmese culture . Without doubt, walking tour will cover the visit to City Hall, the old railway station and the former Minister’s office. Actually Minster’s office is one of the historic buildings in Yangon where General Aung San was assassinated. In addition the guided walks are various religious sites such as the St Mary’s Cathedral, built in 1899, and the Buddhist landmarks of Sule Paya and Botataung Pagoda. During the tour, we’ll stop for a cup of tea or coffee at a local tea shop with the locals. Busy from morning until night, tea shops are an integral part of Burmese life. If you are feeling hungry, they are famous for their semolina cake and also offer great noodle dishes (drinks only; food not included).
